1.2.2-ALPHA.6
Compatibility
Changes
v1.2.2
This pull request introduces improvements to the configuration and reloading behavior of the plugin, specifically making the update interval configurable and refactoring how nametag updates are handled. The most important changes are grouped below:
Configuration Improvements:
- Added a configurable
interval(in seconds) for update checks in both the default and mainconfig.ymlfiles, and incremented theconfig_versionto2to reflect this change. [1] [2] - Updated the configuration migration logic in
LyttleNametag.javato handle the newintervalentry and support migration from version 1 to 2.
Nametag Handler Refactoring:
- Refactored
NametagHandlerto use aBukkitTasktimer based on the configurableinterval, ensuring periodic updates and cleanup run at the specified interval. The timer is restarted on reload. [1] [2] - Changed the reload command to use a new
reloadmethod inNametagHandler, which restarts the timer and reloads nametags, ensuring configuration changes take effect immediately. - Made
reloadNametagsprivate to encapsulate its usage within the handler and ensure it is only called through the proper reload logic.
Versioning:
- Bumped the plugin version from
1.2.1to1.2.2ingradle.propertiesto reflect these updates.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
