Changes
v1.0.5
This pull request introduces a new config version (v2) for the plugin, focusing on enhancing the tab list configuration with new features, improving migration logic, updating dependencies, and refining reload behavior. The changes ensure smoother upgrades, better customization, and improved plugin compatibility.
Configuration and Feature Enhancements:
- Upgraded the tab list configuration (
tab.yml) to support animated headers/footers, configurable animation intervals, invisibility potion hiding, and a powerful, fully configurable sorting system for players in the tab list. Default refresh intervals and sorting rules have also been improved. - Bumped the config version to 2 in both the default and main
config.ymlfiles to reflect the new configuration schema.
Migration and Backward Compatibility:
- Enhanced the
migrateConfig()method inLyttleTab.javato handle migration from version 1 to version 2, including transforming header/footer entries into lists and copying new sorting and animation settings. This ensures seamless upgrades for existing users.
Plugin Dependency and Compatibility Updates:
- Declared
PlaceholderAPIandLuckPermsas soft dependencies inplugin.yml, improving integration and feature detection for these plugins.
Reload and Handler Improvements:
- Changed the reload command logic to call
tabHandler.reload()instead ofrefreshTabList()for more robust reinitialization after config reloads.
Version and Platform Updates:
- Updated the plugin version to 1.0.5 and the supported Paper version to 1.21.9 in
gradle.properties.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
