MimiKoth v1.18.4 — Performance & Stability Update
This update focuses on performance improvements, stability enhancements, and hologram-related fixes, providing a smoother and more efficient experience when managing multiple KOTH events.
Performance Improvements
- Optimized BossBars — Reduced redundant player synchronization and unnecessary title, progress, and visual updates.
- Improved Hologram Performance — Minimized repeated text generation and placeholder processing, especially for inactive KOTHs.
- Optimized Scoreboards — Prevented unnecessary updates when titles and displayed information remain unchanged.
- Refined Task Scheduling — Separated capture detection from visual updates to reduce unnecessary processing.
- Better Multi-KOTH Performance — Improved efficiency when multiple KOTH events are active or inactive simultaneously.
Bug Fixes & Stability
- Fixed hologram flickering and disappearing when multiple KOTHs are located close to each other.
- Improved hologram cleanup to prevent accidental removal of displays belonging to neighboring KOTHs.
- Improved hologram handling during chunk loading and unloading.
- Improved internal hologram lifecycle management to reduce duplicate entities.
Compatibility
- Added support for Minecraft 26.3.
Additional Notes
- No configuration changes are required.
- Existing configuration values remain unchanged.
- Performance optimizations preserve existing countdowns, capture mechanics, and visual behavior.
- Thanks Ashu!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
