1.2.2
Compatibility
Changes
This is a recommended maintenance release that resolves a critical bug affecting inventory restoration and improves the overall stability of the mode-switching feature.
✅ Bug Fixes
- Inventory Restoration Failure: Fixed a major issue where players leaving moderator mode would need to toggle it twice to get their inventory, health, and status back correctly. This was caused by a server timing issue (race condition) that is now resolved. Player states are now restored reliably on the first try.
⚙️ Other Changes
- Version Bump: Updated the internal plugin version to
1.2.2in all relevant files (plugin.yml,pom.xml, and startup logs).
Technical Details
The inventory fix was implemented by delaying the restorePlayerState logic by a single server tick using the Bukkit scheduler. This ensures the GameMode change is fully processed by the server before the player's saved inventory is applied, preventing the race condition.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
