๐ Modern Auction v1.5.0 โ Reliability, Economy Safety & QoL Update
This release directly addresses the #1 most reported issues and exploit risks in Minecraft auction houses:
โก Critical Fixes & Performance Improvements
- Instant Buy-It-Now (BIN) Delivery & Instant Payout: Fixed a critical bug where Buy-It-Now purchases were delayed by up to 5 minutes and mistakenly routed to Expired Items. BIN purchases now instantly transfer items directly to the buyer's inventory and credit money to the seller immediately.
- Direct Auction Win Claiming: Winning an auction now deposits the item directly into the winner's inventory (or
/ah binif inventory is full), completely eliminating the issue where won items appeared in "Expired Items". - Offline Sales Digest: Replaced chat message spam with an aggregated sales summary when a player logs back into the server.
๐ก๏ธ Advanced Exploit Protection & Item Blacklisting
- Keyword & Name Blacklist (
blacklisted-names): Automatically blocks listings containing banned words, symbols, or custom illegal names. - Lore Blacklist (
blacklisted-lore): Blocks listing items containing specific lore lines or exploit tags. - Damaged Items Blocker (
block-damaged-items): Prevents scamming where nearly broken armor/tools are sold at mint prices. - Shulker Box Blocker (
block-shulker-boxes): Optional toggle to block shulker boxes from being listed on the auction house to prevent NBT payload abuse.
๐ New Features & Quality of Life
- Custom Quantity Selling: Players can now sell a specific portion of their stack directly without having to split it manually in their inventory:
/ah sell <price> [amount]/ah bin <price> [amount]
- Admin Mass Clear Command: Added
/ah admin cancelall <player>(and/ah admin clear <player>) with tab completion to let admins clear all active listings of a player in one go. - Java 17 - 25 & 1.20 - 1.21.4 Compatibility: Compiled with release 17 target, tested live on Paper 26.3 with Temurin Java 25.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
