1.0.1
-
Added a full configuration with an explanation for every setting, and a command to apply changes without restarting the server
-
Added several biomes that are painted across the park, with configurable sizes and how common each biome is
-
Added four terrain profiles (flat, rolling hills, valley lakes and plateaus) with settings for the average ground level, the water level, how far the ground may rise and fall, how wide the hills are, the terrain seed, the soil thickness and whether valleys below the water level are flooded
-
Added per-world game rules that are applied to park worlds
-
Added a working command to create a park world with a chosen terrain profile and seed, including a check that the world name is usable
-
Added world management: list park worlds, teleport between them, unload them and permanently delete them with a confirmation step
-
Added tab completion for every command, a command list, an information command and a reload command
-
Added permission checks for every command, so creating, unloading, deleting, pre-generating and reloading now require the matching permission
-
Added a pre-generation command that generates the park in the background, reports its progress and can be cancelled
-
Added per-decoration settings, so every decoration can be switched on or off and tuned by how often it is attempted, how likely each attempt is, its size and its materials
-
Added new decorations: gazebos, bridges over ponds, picnic areas, wells, sundials, campfires with sitting logs, lantern posts, flower beds and flower pots that really stand in their pot
-
Added the ability to sit down on benches, stairs and slabs in the park
-
Added more tree types, bamboo, berry bushes, pumpkins, melons and sugar cane to the decoration palette
-
Added ambient life: butterflies during the day, fireflies at night and occasional ambient sounds
-
Added animals to the park that stay: pandas near bamboo groves and bees at beehives, both with configurable limits
-
Added placeholders that other plugins can use to show park information
-
Added a safe spawn search, so players are never teleported into a tree, into the water or into the ground
-
Added spawn protection that blocks building and PvP around park spawns, with a permission to bypass it
-
Added stored spawns per world that survive a server restart, along with all messages collected in one editable place
-
Fixed the command that creates a park world never doing anything
-
Fixed a set spawn never being kept, being replaced with the default position on every restart and always ending up in the wrong world when it was set somewhere else
-
Fixed players being teleported into the ground because the spawn was placed on top of the ground layer instead of on the surface
-
Fixed the world always being created during startup in a way that could clash with a world of the same name that the server loads itself
-
Fixed the park being generated with far more work than needed, which made exploring and pre-generating much slower than necessary
-
Fixed the park being generated in a way that would stop working after a future server update
-
Fixed the plugin announcing support for an older version of the game than it is made for
-
Fixed the plugin depending on another plugin that it never used
-
Fixed decorations being written outside the part of the map that they belong to, which lost them or slowed the server down while the map was created
-
Fixed trees being cut in half whenever they grew close to the edge of the area being created
-
Fixed paths being placed at one single height, so they floated in the air or were buried in the ground
-
Fixed fences, walls, benches, wells, gazebos and other multi-part decorations floating or sinking on uneven ground
-
Fixed decorations overwriting each other, trees, ponds and garden features that were placed before them
-
Fixed paths, circles and rings cutting holes into the ground layer
-
Fixed pumpkins, melons, berry bushes and mossy stones being buried in the ground instead of being placed on top of it
-
Fixed berry bushes never growing to their full size
-
Fixed flowers floating one block above their pot
-
Fixed beehives hanging in the air away from trees, always facing the same direction and appearing several times on the same tree
-
Fixed beehives being empty instead of full of honey
-
Fixed flower pots and other decorations replacing the ground under them
-
Fixed ponds being surrounded by a ring of empty air, sitting flush with the ground and never getting a shoreline
-
Fixed sugar cane almost never appearing because it was only looked for at the wrong height
-
Fixed sugar cane and the other plants near water being placed without water next to them
-
Fixed the park getting no water at all, even where the ground was below the water level
-
Fixed stone circles appearing as four loose blocks instead of a ring
-
Fixed signs always being blank
-
Fixed vines disappearing shortly after they were placed
-
Fixed pandas disappearing soon after they were generated
-
Fixed the spawn being recalculated from the highest block during startup, which also stalled the server while starting
-
Fixed players who left the server during the join delay still being moved afterwards
-
Fixed commands ignoring permissions, which let anyone create, unload or delete park worlds and change the configuration
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
