v1.3.0 – The Function Update
Adds custom named parameters to
skfunction, allowing MythicMobs skills to pass text, numbers, booleans, and colors directly into Skript functions.
✨ New Syntax (Custom Parameters API)
- Named Function Parameters:
- MythicMobs skill fields are now passed to Skript function parameters with the same name.
text,number,boolean, andcolordataparameters are supported.
- Runtime Values:
- Custom parameter values support MythicMobs placeholders and are resolved when the skill is cast.
- Entity and location targets can be used when resolving parameter values.
- Color Data Support:
#RRGGBB,#AARRGGBB,R,G,B, and Bukkit dye-color names are supported.
♻️ Core Refactoring & Improvements
- Validation: Missing, unsupported, and invalid function parameters now produce clear Skript warnings and return
INVALID_CONFIG. - Compatibility: Updated support for Paper (and its forks) to 1.21.4 - 26.2.
- Clean Up: Removed the unused
version.txtresource, the obsolete ActiveMob wiki page, and legacyjavax.annotation.Nullableusages.
Check out the Wiki for a full guide and examples on how to use the new
skfunctionparameters!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
