2.1.1
Compatibility
Changes
Time for a new release!
This minor update fixes important bugs regarding the Tablist Hider and adds an option to hide death messages.
Additions/Changes
- Added a new config.yml variable,
disable-death-messages, with a default boolean value of true, which hides the death messages (e.g. "X was slain by Y") for deaths in enabled worlds - Death message hiding is handled inside the GlobalDeathSoundListener class for all three modules (V1_8, V1_17 and V1_21), and works even when
death-soundis turned off - Changed the V1_21 TabListClearer to hide players by updating their listed state, instead of removing them from the player info list entirely
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where players could only see others who joined after them, or no one at all, when the Tablist Hider was enabled on 1.21 (the old approach removed players' entries from the client, which also stopped their models from rendering)
- Fixed players staying invisible after a plugin reload, as the reload now restores every player correctly
- Fixed death messages still being broadcast in chat and logged to the console, even with the other message-hiding options enabled
Thank you to everyone who reported these issues, and thanks for your patience.
As always, stay alert for new versions, and have a fun time using the plugin!
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
