π Whatβs New?
β Pay Using @Mentions on Discord
You can now send money on Discord by simply mentioning a player β no need to type their username manually. Example:
/pay @Steve 100
Version 4 introduced a massive upgrade:
β Integrated Discord Bot
NewEconomy now includes its own Discord bot, with no extra plugins needed. With it, you can:
- Check your balance (
/balance) - Send payments (
/pay) - View transaction history (
/history) - Link your account (
/link) - Receive automatic notifications
β Main Differences Between v3 and v4
What v4 Added:
- Built-in Discord bot
- 23 economy commands on Discord
- Easy 6-character link codes
- @Mention payments
- Automatic account linking
- Real-time notifications (DM + in-game)
- Safer, more stable transactions
β Is it safe to update?
Yes! If you donβt want to use Discord, the plugin still works exactly like v3. All Discord features are optional.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
