Diamond (item) currency
NotMines can now use an in-game item, such as diamonds, instead of Vault money. Set economy.mode: item in config.yml and restart; no economy plugin is needed. Suggested in #1.
- Bets are whole items taken from the player's inventory, and payouts are handed back the same way. Anything that does not fit is dropped at the player's feet and can only be picked up by them.
- Pick any item with
economy.item.material(defaultDIAMOND) and set its display names withsingularandplural. - Item mode has its own limits under
economy.item.limits(defaults: min bet10, max bet64, max payout2304). - Payouts are rounded down to whole items, so very small bets return a little less than larger ones. That is why the default minimum bet is
10. - Only plain items count as currency. Renamed, enchanted, or otherwise customized items are never taken.
- Item mode keeps its own stats files, so existing money-mode stats are untouched.
Max payout limit
A new max-payout limit caps what a single board can pay: limits.max-payout in money mode and economy.item.limits.max-payout in item mode. A board cashes out automatically when it reaches the cap. It is off (0) by default in money mode and set to 2304 in item mode.
Upgrading
Nothing changes unless you opt in: money mode stays the default, and new config and message keys are merged into your existing files automatically.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
