Changes
- New keyframe editor:
/nonscene edit <name>opens a cutscene (or creates a new one), and/nonscene key add|remove|move|speed|tp|listchanges its keyframes. Check your changes with/nonscene preview, then/nonscene saveor/nonscene discard - Recorded cutscenes opened in the editor are cut down to a few keyframes automatically, so they are easy to edit
- Timeline events: show titles, play sounds, spawn particles, or run console/player commands at any moment of a cutscene with
/nonscene event add|list|clear - Triggers: play a cutscene on a player's first join, from your own command (e.g.
/intro), or when a player walks into an area. Set them up in thetriggerssection ofconfig.yml - Fade to black before and after a cutscene (
BLINDNESS,TITLEwith a resource-pack glyph, orNONE) - The camera is now fully locked during playback: viewers can't move or look around, and the hotbar and hand are hidden
- New commands:
skip, pause, resume, rename, copy, export, import, andreload - Viewers can skip a cutscene by sneaking (needs
nonscene.skip; turn off withskip-on-sneak: false) /nonscene play <name> [player]plays a cutscene for another player and works from the console and command blocks- Cutscenes can be shared between servers:
exportsaves them toplugins/nonscenes/exports, andimportloads them from there /nonscene deletenow asks for confirmation- If the server stops during a cutscene, the player is put back where they were when they join again
- A cutscene that fails during playback now stops cleanly and no longer leaves the player stuck
- New
eye-heightoption sets the camera height;ride-height-offsetandbake-pathwere removed - Missing options in
config.ymlandmessages.ymlare added automatically when you update - New permissions:
nonscene.play.others,nonscene.skip(.others),nonscene.pause(.others),nonscene.rename,nonscene.copy,nonscene.export,nonscene.import,nonscene.event,nonscene.edit,nonscene.reload(all included innonscene.admin) - Simple API for other plugins: play, stop, pause, resume, and skip cutscenes
- The plugin now sends anonymous usage statistics via FastStats
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
