Turn any block into a launchpad. Step into water — get shot into the sky. Pressure plates become trampolines, slime bounces you around, and a directional pad can fling players across the map. Launch power, sound and particles are set per block, and the plu

Changes
1.2.2
Initial release.
Added
- Launchpads on any block: water, lava, pressure plates, slime, honey, whatever the config lists.
- Per-trigger settings: vertical power, sound (name, volume, pitch), particles (type and count), cooldown, on/off switch.
- Horizontal push: along the player's view direction or at a fixed yaw angle from the config.
- Fall damage cancellation right after a launch, with a configurable protection window.
- Global per-player cooldown with a remaining-time message in the action bar.
- Lava launchpads extinguish the player, nobody stays on fire.
- Per-pad permissions (novajump.use.<trigger>), open to everyone by default.
- Launch counters persisted in stats.yml, read by %novajump_launches%.
- PlaceholderAPI support, fully optional: %novajump_launches% and %novajump_cooldown%.
- Commands: /novajump reload, /novajump test, /novajump setforce, with tab completion. The old /jumpreload still works.
- Messages in English and Russian, MiniMessage formatting with hex colors. The library is shaded into the jar, servers need nothing extra.
- Particle aliasing: names Minecraft renamed over the years resolve on old and new servers alike, so one config.yml works everywhere.
- MIT license.
Changed
- boost_power is the actual vertical speed, no hidden multipliers.
- The velocity cap (5.0) applies to the final velocity vector, oversized values are capped with a console warning.
- Solid blocks trigger when you step on them, liquids when you step in. A boost fires when the player enters the pad, not on every step inside it.
- Teleports, spectators, dead players, vehicles, elytra gliding and riptide are ignored by the move handler.
- Config validation with clear console warnings: unknown or non-block materials, negative or oversized power, dotted trigger ids.
- Commands use the novajump.admin permission (default: op), the old /jumpreload is kept as an alias.
Removed
- Hidden 0.8 velocity multiplier and the duplicate velocity cap from the prototype.
- The twelve-line ASCII banner in the startup log.
- Legacy &-color codes: messages are MiniMessage now, old configs must be regenerated.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
