Changes
Nexora 1.5.0
🔑 New Physical Chest Key System
- Added craftable Nexora keys using a tripwire hook and a gold nugget.
- Each key has its own unique identity.
- Sneak and right-click a chest or barrel to link or unlink a key.
- Authorized keys work from the hotbar, inventory or off-hand.
- One key can unlock multiple containers.
- Multiple keys can be linked to the same container.
- Access follows the physical key: shared or stolen keys can be used by their holder.
- Only the container owner can manage keys, expand the chest or break it.
- Removing the final linked key makes the container public again.
- Supports single chests, double chests and barrels.
- Locked-locked containers remain protected from explosions and hopper extraction.
🔄 Changes
- Replaced the
/chestlockand/chestunlockcommands with physical keys. - Chest keys only affect normal player-placed containers, not death chests.
- Updated administrator recovery tools for the new key system.
🛡️ Update Safety
- Containers locked in previous versions remain accessible to their original owner.
- Existing locks can be converted by linking their first physical key.
- Death chests, rentals, debts, marketplace listings and other saved data remain compatible.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
