β‘ OptimizationForLB v2.0.3
OptimizationForLB (OFLB) v2.0.3 is a comprehensive, next-generation server optimization engine engineered specifically for Paper, Purpur, Pufferfish, and Folia servers.
It delivers active multi-tiered performance defenses: dynamic mob AI throttling during lag, chunk farm entity breeding caps, armor stand gravity physics stripping, water flooding machine blockers, explosion and TNT lag limiters, smart hopper transfer optimization, continuous ground item auto-merging, intelligent mob stacking, redstone clock protection, smart chunk unloader algorithms, aggressive heap memory reduction, real-time health telemetry, and autonomous Auto-Fix incident recovery.
π What is New in v2.0.3
- π§ Dynamic Mob AI Throttler (
/opt ai): When server TPS falls below 16.5, the plugin dynamically suspends the pathfinding AI of living mobs far away from players (default: 24+ blocks away), restoring it instantly when TPS recovers above 18.5. This frees enormous CPU main-thread budget. - π Farm & Breeding Density Limiter: Enforces a configurable living mob ceiling per chunk (default: 35 mobs) against spawner over-stacking, egg spam, and mass animal breeding.
- π‘οΈ Armor Stand Gravity & Physics Optimizer: Automatically freezes gravity calculations on static ground armor stands, eliminating continuous physics tick overhead.
- π§Ή Enhanced All-in-One Sweep (
/opt clean): Now clears ground items, merges nearby drops, compacts mob stacks, purges inactive chunks, strips armor stand physics, and trims heap RAM.
π οΈ Complete Feature Matrix
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Mob AI Throttler | Suspends pathfinding for distant mobs during lag spikes (< 16.5 TPS). |
| Farm Limiter | Caps breeding and spawner mob overload per chunk (default 35 mobs/chunk). |
| Armor Stand Optimizer | Disables gravity ticking on grounded decorative armor stands. |
| Water Flow Limiter | Throttles excessive fluid updates to eliminate water/lava lag machines. |
| Explosion Limiter | Throttles TNT cannon density and crystal explosions during lag. |
| Hopper Optimizer | Paces empty hopper inventory scans under server load. |
| Item Auto-Merger | Merges dropped items within radius into single stacks every 5 seconds. |
| Entity (Mob) Stacker | Compacts same-type living entities into stacked units with custom tags. |
| Redstone Clock Throttler | Halts abusive rapid redstone clocks per chunk and notifies staff. |
| Smart Chunk Manager | Automatically unloads unoccupied chunks outside player view buffers. |
| Autonomous TPS Auto-Fix | Automatically triggers full emergency recovery when TPS drops below 15.0. |
| 1-Minute Health Telemetry | Broadcasts comprehensive performance audits every 60 seconds with health scores. |
| Aggressive ~1 GB RAM Trimmer | Frees clogged JVM heap memory without requiring a server reboot. |

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
