Premium Verification on Offline-Mode Servers
Premium players can now be verified on offline-mode servers without a proxy or FastLogin.
Added
- On an offline-mode server with no proxy, PAL now checks premium accounts with Mojang when they join, the same way online-mode does. Verified players are logged in automatically.
/premiumnow works on these servers too: run it, rejoin within 5 minutes, and your account switches to premium once Mojang confirms it.
Notes / Recommendations
- This works with
premium.protocol.mode: AUTOinpremium.yml. If FastLogin is installed,AUTOleaves premium checks to FastLogin; set it toPAL_NATIVEto use PAL instead. - Online-mode servers and servers behind BungeeCord or Velocity work the same as before.
- If Mojang can't be reached, the player joins normally and logs in with their password.
- Restart your server after updating.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
