Pedestals - Core 1.8
Release 1.8 - The Reliability Update
This update fixes pedestals losing their interaction hitbox after dimension travel, most commonly reported in the Nether.
Bug Fixes
- Missing Hitbox After Dimension Travel: Fixed pedestals permanently losing their interaction hitbox (and sometimes their displays) when rapid chunk load/unload cycles - such as those caused by Nether portal linking - caused the plugin's one-time delayed chunk-load respawn check to miss its window.
Improvements & Technical Changes
- Self-Healing Core Displays: Block displays, the item display, and the interaction hitbox now reconcile automatically about once per second, adopting or respawning anything missing without duplicating existing entities. This mirrors the self-healing already in place for orbitals, extended to the pedestal's core structure.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
