Release Description
PixelWarp v1.0.1 is a stability and quality release focused on safer storage behavior, smoother particles, and better command usability for daily server operations.
Highlights
- Balanced particle rendering with distance-aware modes for lower load and cleaner visuals.
- Added usability commands: /warp help, /warp info, /warp version.
- Improved teleport arrival visuals with a one-time burst effect.
- Hardened config validation and runtime fallbacks.
- Continued storage reliability improvements for FILE and MYSQL workflows.
- Refreshed README and GUIDE with updated behavior and configuration details.
Added
- New command support:
- /warp help
- /warp info
- /warp version
- New top-level particle tuning keys:
- particles.enabled
- particles.radius
- particles.max-per-warp
- particles.interval-ticks
- particles.dynamic
Changed
- Version bumped to 1.0.1.
- Particle behavior now uses distance bands:
- Under 5 blocks: focus mode (spiral style)
- 5 to 12 blocks: idle mode (ring style)
- Beyond 12 blocks: no particle rendering
- Particle points per warp frame are capped at low values for performance.
- Runtime particle task interval is tuned for safer defaults.
Fixed
- Multiple compile-time inconsistencies around refactor integration were resolved.
- Particle engine and pattern signature alignment was stabilized.
- Command flow and subcommand handling consistency improved.
- Config null safety and fallback handling improved.
Upgrade Notes
- Verify file.secret-key length if file encryption is enabled. Allowed lengths are 16, 24, or 32 bytes.
- Review storage.type and storage.last-type after update.
- Confirm warp.create-delete-cooldown-seconds for your server preference.
- Tune particles.radius and particles.interval-ticks based on your player count.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
