PlasmoParrots
PlasmoParrots is a Paper plugin for Plasmo Voice that lets nearby parrots repeat fragments of real player speech.
It does not generate text or use prerecorded sounds. Every parrot replay comes directly from actual voice chat audio spoken by players.
Features
- Captures short fragments of nearby voice chat.
- Lets parrots repeat what they hear.
- Applies playful high-pitched and toy-like voice effects.
- Supports multiple parrots replying at once.
- Adds a dedicated "Parrots" volume slider in Plasmo Voice.
Requirements
- Paper 1.21.4+
- Java 21+
- Plasmo Voice 2.1.9+
How It Works
When a player speaks, nearby parrots may repeat a short piece of that voice message using a squeaky, toy-like version of the original audio.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
