Features
Custom Broadcast Messages for Vanilla Advancements
You can now replace the default vanilla Minecraft advancement chat messages with fully customized broadcasts:
- New GUI (
VanillaAdvancementsGUI): When viewing a vanilla tab in/padv gui, left-click any vanilla advancement to set a custom broadcast message via chat input - Per-advancement messages: Each vanilla advancement can have its own unique broadcast format, stored in
vanilla-messages.yml - Full formatting support:
&#RRGGBBhex colors,<gradient>,<rainbow>,<color:#XXXXXX>,&#codes, and all standard&color codes - PlaceholderAPI support in custom messages
- Hover tooltip:
%advancement%automatically shows the advancement description as a hover tooltip in chat (gray text on hover) - Placeholders:
%player%,%advancement%(with hover),%description% - Right-click reset: Right-click a vanilla advancement in the GUI to remove its custom message and revert to default
- Web editor integration: Tab order for vanilla tabs synced between editor and in-game GUI
Fixes
- Fixed vanilla tab order keys being written with
vanilla_prefix instead of proper key names invanilla-tab-order - Fixed
vanilla-messages.ymlmerge/persist to load existing file before saving (prevents data loss) - Fixed hover tooltip on
%advancement%being lost when color formatting is applied
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
