๐ Version 1.6.0 โ The Security, Audio & Optimization Update
This update introduces critical security patches against item duplication exploits, brings a universal multi-version audio engine, and delivers extreme performance optimizations for high-population servers.
๐ก๏ธ Security & Bug Fixes
- Duplication Exploit Fixed: Added automatic inventory closing when a target player disconnects during
/aecinspection, completely preventing item duplication or deletion. - Vanish Leak Prevention: Fixed
/aectab-completion leaking staff members in/vanishby enforcing proper permissions and player visibility checks (canSee). - Silent Audio Bug Resolved: Fixed opening sound not playing on Minecraft 1.8 through 1.12 due to legacy enum name discrepancies.
- No More Server Freezes: Eliminated blocking synchronous Mojang API lookups (
getOfflinePlayer) on the main thread when querying offline targets in/aec. - Permission Interception Fixed: Custom
no-permissionmessages andcommand-open-for-allnow work seamlessly without Bukkit overrides.
โจ New Features & Enhancements
- ๐ Universal Audio Engine: Native sound effects dynamically resolved across all versions from 1.8 up to 26.3+ (
BLOCK_ENDER_CHEST_OPENโBLOCK_ENDERCHEST_OPENโCHEST_OPEN). - ๐งค Dual-Hand Support: Players can now open their Ender Chest by right-clicking with it in their main hand or off-hand (1.9+).
- โ๏ธ Command Sound Toggle: Added
features.command-play-soundinconfig.ymlto optionally play opening sounds when using/ec. - ๐ Disconnect Notification: Configurable
messages.admin-target-disconnectedalert sent to admins if their target logs off. - โก 200+ Player Performance: Ultra-fast material checks before executing reflection, removing unnecessary CPU overhead on click spam (PvP).
- ๐งต Folia Memory Hardening: All configuration caches are now marked as
volatilefor instant thread-safe memory visibility across Folia regions.
[!TIP] Configuration Note: If you are updating from v1.5.0, your previous
config.ymlis fully compatible. You can optionally addcommand-play-sound: falseunderfeaturesandadmin-target-disconnectedundermessagesto take advantage of the new options.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
