Changes
Raccoons Orbital Cannons 4.0.0
Added
- Sulfur Cube Nuke, merged in from OrbitalStrikeCannon. Cast the rod at a target and reel in. Explosive sulfur cubes (sulfur cubes holding TNT) rain down in rings and all explode on the same tick.
- 3x more cubes than the original. About 1015 per nuke, up from 340, using 12 rings and a 1.45 block cube spacing. Tune it with
nuke.rings,nuke.cube-spacingandnuke.max-cubes. - New
/orccommand that covers every cannon:/orc wither/orc sulfernuke/orc pearlcannon [setchunk|removesetchunk|checkchunk|reload]/orc strike <x> <y> <z>(drops a nuke without a rod)/orc reload
- New permissions:
osc.admin(default OP) for giving the nuke rod, striking and reloading, andosc.use(default everyone) for using a nuke rod. - Sulfur nuke settings in
config.yml: cooldown, delay, disabled worlds, cube size and drop yield.
Changed
- The Sulfur Cube Cannon rod now starts with 4 durability left, like the wither and pearl rods. Firing uses all of it, so the rod breaks.
- The wither cannon always fires
arrow-amountskulls fromconfig.ymlin the lattice formation. The amount and shape options on the command are gone. - Requires Paper 26.2+ and Java 25. Sulfur cubes only exist in the 26.2 API, so older servers are no longer supported.
- An outdated
config.ymlis moved toconfig-old.ymland replaced with the new defaults. Your existing wither and pearl settings are copied across.
Kept
/witherskullcannonand/pearlcannonstill work as before.- Access rules are unchanged: the wither cannon is MrRacgoon only, and the pearl cannon is ops only.
Notes
- Sulfur cube explosions follow the
mobGriefinggamerule. If it is false, no blocks break. - A nuke of about 1000 cubes is heavy. If TPS drops, lower
nuke.ringsorcube.drop-yield. - Sulfur Cube Cannon rods from the standalone OrbitalStrikeCannon 1.0.x plugin won't work. Give new ones with
/orc sulfernuke.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
