Changes
Added
- New
/randomitem stats [player]command that shows how many items a player has received, how many of them were rare, which item they got last and where they stand on the leaderboard - New
/randomitem give <player> [amount]command so staff can hand out random items on demand - New
/randomitem infocommand that reports whether distribution is running, the interval, the time until the next drop, the active worlds, the number of players receiving items and the chance of each rarity - New
/randomitem topleaderboard listing the ten players who have collected the most items - New
/randomitem history [count]command showing the most recent drops, newest first - Rarity tiers with individual weights, colours, display names, sounds, broadcasts and celebrations, replacing the old flat rarity values
- Rare drop celebrations with an on-screen title, a sound and an optional firework for the player who found the item
- A fully configurable custom item system where any number of special items can be defined, each with its own material, name, lore, rarity and server effect
- Two additional custom items: a Lightning Stick that calls down lightning and a Fireball Wand that launches a fireball, both usable by right-clicking
- A choice of what happens when a player has no free inventory slot, so items can be skipped, dropped at the player's feet, or held back and delivered once there is room again
- Ability to see the chance of every rarity in game, so drop rates can be tuned without guessing
Fixed
- Setting the interval to zero, a negative number or an extremely large number no longer breaks the countdown
- Interval changes made in game are now kept after a restart
- Pausing with an invalid duration no longer leaves distribution stuck in a paused state
- Excluded items can no longer be handed out through rarity tiers
- Unknown item names, sounds and boss bar settings are now skipped with a console warning instead of causing errors
- Missing message entries no longer appear as raw internal names in chat
- Boss bars are now removed when a player quits the server or moves to a world that does not receive items
- Statistics, recent drops and held items are now saved and restored when the plugin reloads or the server restarts
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
