BACKUP YOUR DATABASE BEFORE UPDATING!
This update completely rebuilds RedeemCode from the ground up to be faster, lag-free, and much easier to customize!
✨ What's New
-
Database checks are now fully asynchronous and caching is heavily optimized. Say goodbye to TPS drops and memory leaks!
-
Reward codes are no longer stored in the database. They are now managed in a flexible codes.yml file where you can easily set multiple commands, custom messages, global limits, and permissions per code.
-
Switched from legacy & colors to modern MiniMessage tags (e.g., <red>, <gradient>) for full hex color support.
-
/redeemcode commands (create, info, addcmd) now safely edit your codes.yml file directly.
-
Use the new /redeemcode reload command to apply config changes instantly without restarting your server.
-
Fully updated to support Paper 26.1.2 and Java 25.
⚠️ Important Upgrade Note
Your players' database redemption history is 100% safe and will carry over automatically! However, because of the massive changes to the config structure and chat colors, you must manually translate your existing codes into the new codes.yml format before starting the server.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
