π RoyItems v2026.1.1 β Localization & Update System
A quality-of-life update focusing on multi-language support, automated configuration safety, and built-in update checking for server administrators.
π Multi-Language Support (7 Built-in Languages)
You can now easily switch the plugin's language directly in config.yml using the language setting. RoyItems now comes with ready-to-use, natural translations for:
- πΊπΈ English (
en-USβ Default) - π»π³ Vietnamese (
vi-VN) - π©πͺ German (
de-DE) - π―π΅ Japanese (
ja-JP) - π°π· Korean (
ko-KR) - π·πΊ Russian (
ru-RU) - πͺπΈ Spanish (
es-ES)
Smart Fallback: If a translation line is ever missing or left empty in your chosen language, the plugin will seamlessly use English so your players never see broken text or missing messages.
π New In-Game Update Checker (/ri checkupdate)
- New Command: Server admins can now type
/ri checkupdateanytime to see the current version and instantly check how many new releases are available ahead. - Admin Alerts: Operators and administrators will receive a polite, clean notification upon joining or reloading the server when an update is available.
- Clean Chat Formatting: Designed with modern gradient colors and subtle styling β no harsh or excessive bold text spamming your chat.
π‘οΈ Automatic Configuration Safety (Config Migration)
- Zero Data Loss: When you update RoyItems, you no longer need to worry about new options wiping your existing settings.
- Automatic Backups: The plugin automatically creates a safe backup file (
.bak) before updating any files. - Smooth Merging: New options and settings are added automatically while preserving 100% of your custom numbers, item values, and configurations.
π All-English Defaults & Built-in Lore Wiki
- Standardized English: The main configuration (
config.yml), the Ingame GUI Editor (editor-gui.yml), and default files now use clean, standard English by default for international server teams. - Built-in Reference Guide (
_example.yml): A comprehensive wiki file is now included inside thelore-formatfolder. It lists every placeholder, custom stat, and color code you can use. This file automatically stays up-to-date and is protected against accidental deletion.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
