Changes
Server-controlled 3D objects, armor mesh support, and vehicle fixes
3D objects
- Control each placed shader object's state, timing, movement, rotation, and size, with smooth client-side animation.
- Create sequences that combine object changes, waits, sounds, commands, removal, and restarts.
- Spawn objects at coordinates from the console or command blocks. All
/rp objectactions now work from command blocks and throughexecute as <entity>. - State and sequence commands now target the nearest object that supports the requested state or sequence.
- Set separate permissions for each
/rp objectaction. - Added portal, meteor, and black hole examples with states and sequences.
- Fixed rendering around triangle edges on driven 3D objects.
Dialogs
- Studio dialogs can show icons from your server's own resource pack, pasted in or named by RP Engine icon id.
Portal scenes
- Fixed floating tree sections and shimmering in the snowy pine scene.
- Replaced the odd-world scene with a Manhattan avenue, including buildings, street traffic, and the Empire State Building.
3D armor
- Armor models now support Blockbench mesh elements.
- Set
shader-helmet: trueto render a set's helmet through shaders. - Fixed one wearer's armor failure preventing armor updates for other players.
- Fixed armor displays not being hidden correctly when a viewer quickly rejoins.
Resource packs
- Fixed quitting and rejoining during the initial skin wait leaving the new session without its resource packs.
Vehicles
- Fixed
holdOccupantblocking dismounts caused by death, teleporting, switching to spectator, or disconnecting. It now blocks only sneak-key dismounts while the vehicle is moving.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
