Changes
Players get your packs with nothing to set up
- New: packs are uploaded to our free pack host by default and players download them from there. No port to open, no IP to set, and it works behind a proxy and on any host. Choose another way with
host.modein config.yml:same-portserves packs from your server's own Minecraft port,own-portis the old second-port setup, andnoneonly builds them. - If an upload fails, the pack is served on your game port instead, and the console says so.
- A config that already set its own
host.public-addresskeeps working exactly as before. - New: when an update adds a setting, RP Engine writes it into your config.yml with its explanation, keeps your file otherwise as it was, and saves the old one as a backup.
- New: when a player's game cannot download a pack, the console says which link it was sent and what to check.
/rp bundlesshows the link each bundle is served at. - Changed: custom items no longer count as their base material in vanilla recipes, so a custom item made from paper no longer crafts into a book. This covers the crafting grid, furnaces, the stonecutter, smithing table, anvil and crafter. Set
vanilla-recipes: trueon an item, oritems.vanilla-recipes: truein config.yml, to allow it. - Fixed:
mode: loopon an animation imported from Blockbench as play-once now starts it on its own, instead of waiting for a right-click.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
