Changes
BetterHud and Studio shader HUDs now draw together
- New: when another plugin's pack replaces Minecraft's text shader (BetterHud does, and so do Studio's shader HUDs and live player heads), RP Engine merges the two into its own pack so both draw. No extra pack and no extra loading screen. The console says what was merged, on which versions, and what could not be and why.
- When a merge happened, a joining player's packs wait up to three seconds for the other plugin's pack, so RP Engine's land on top of it in one load.
- Fixed: a plugin that sends its pack with
setResourcePack(BetterHud does) took every RP Engine pack off the player. RP Engine now sends them again, on top. - New settings:
shaders.mergeturns merging off, andshaders.notify-players: falsekeeps the messages to the console instead of telling ops in chat. Players withrpengine.shaders(ops) are told. - Using BetterHud? Update it to 2.2.0: 2.0.0's own shader does not work on 1.21.6 to 1.21.11, so nothing can be merged on those versions. Re-export or re-push packs made in Studio before this update so they can be merged.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
