✨ SanctumSack 2.0.0 — The Sanctum Dimension
This update introduces the core vision of SanctumSack:
a personal, magical sanctuary dimension for each player.
Added
- Private floating Sanctum islands, generated per-player using UUID-based coordinates
- Dedicated void Sanctum world with custom chunk generator
- Organic island generation with layered stone, deep slate, and arcane materials
- Central magical core made of Crying Obsidian and Obsidian
- Entry and exit pads integrated into the island layout
- Ambient magic effects: particles and subtle amethyst sounds
- Mixed lighting system (cold sea lanterns + warm lanterns) for a mystical atmosphere
Improved
- Island layout redesigned to function as a real expandable base
- Safer spawn positions with anti-suffocation logic
- Stable and deterministic generation (same player = same island)
Technical
- Optimized for Paper & Purpur 1.21.x
- UUID-seeded generation for long-term persistence
- Clean separation between overworld access and sanctum dimension
This version lays the foundation of the Sanctum dimension. Future updates will expand progression, permissions, visitors, and lore.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
