Changes
Sculk v1.1.0 Changelog
This release introduces global multilingual support and pre-bundled translation packs to Sculk.
🚀 Key Features
- Global Language Configuration: Server administrators can now set a global language in
config.yml(viadefault-language: "<lang>"). All system messages, command helpers, quest progress notifications, and action bar alerts are translated universally. - AI Target Language Injection: Instructs the LLM gateway to write all conversational replies in the server's configured global language, even if base prompts or server logs are in English.
- Customizable Resource Files: Automatically extracts editable localization templates (
lang/messages_<lang>.yml) and background lore logs (lore_<lang>.txt) to the plugin's data folder on startup.
🌐 Supported Languages Out of the Box
Includes pre-configured translation packs for:
- English (
en) - Polish (
pl) - German (
de) - Spanish (
es) - French (
fr)
🛠️ Code Improvements
- Refactored Chat and Command Routing: Migrated all hardcoded user-facing strings to the new translation manager pipeline.
- Thread-Safe Localized Lore Caching: Implemented a thread-safe map to cache and serve localized context files to the inference engine.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
