SendLobby-Velocity
A lightweight plugin for Velocity that adds a simple /lobby command, so players can return to your lobby server from any server on your network with a single command.
No dependencies and no complicated setup. Drop it in, set the name of your lobby server, and you're done.
What does it do?
When a player types /lobby (or /hub, /l), the proxy sends them to your lobby server. It works from every backend server on your network (survival, skyblock, minigames, anything), because the plugin runs directly on the proxy.
Velocity has no built-in /lobby command, and this plugin fills that gap without needing LuckPerms or any other plugin.
Features
/lobbycommand with the aliases/huband/lby default- Works from any server on your network
- Configurable lobby server name
- Configurable command name and aliases
- Optional permission, so you can restrict who can use it
- Fully customizable messages with
&color codes - Tells players when they are already in the lobby
- Tells players if the lobby server doesn't exist, instead of failing silently
- No dependencies, works without LuckPerms or any other plugin
- Tiny and lightweight, saves nothing but a single config file
Installation
- Download the latest
.jarfile. - Put it in the
pluginsfolder of your Velocity proxy (not on your backend servers). - Restart Velocity.
- Edit
plugins/sendlobby-velocity/config.ymlif you need to change the lobby server name or anything else. - Restart the proxy again to apply the changes.
Configuration
The config file is created automatically on first start:
# Name of the lobby server (must match a server name in velocity.toml, section [servers])
lobby-server: lobby
# Main command (without the slash) and aliases separated by commas
command: lobby
aliases: hub, l
# Permission required to use the command. Leave empty to allow every player.
# Example: lobby.use
permission:
# Messages. Use & for colors, for example &a, &c, &e.
message-moving: &aSending you to the lobby...
message-already: &cYou are already in the lobby.
message-no-server: &cThe lobby server does not exist. Please contact an administrator.
message-players-only: &cThis command can only be used by players.
Commands and permissions
| Command | Description | Permission |
|---|---|---|
/lobby |
Sends you to the lobby server | None by default (configurable) |
/hub, /l |
Aliases of /lobby |
Same as above |
If you set a permission in the config (for example lobby.use), you need a permissions plugin on the proxy, such as LuckPerms for Velocity.
Requirements
- Velocity (built against Velocity API 3.3.0)
- Java 17 or newer
- Tested with Minecraft 1.21.11
Notes
- Install the plugin on the proxy only. Do not put it on your backend servers.
- The
lobby-servervalue must exactly match the name of your lobby invelocity.toml. - Changes to
config.ymlrequire a proxy restart.

SendLobby-Velocity
Lekki plugin na Velocity, który dodaje prostą komendę /lobby. Gracze mogą wrócić na serwer lobby z dowolnego serwera w Twojej sieci jedną komendą.
Bez zależności i bez skomplikowanej konfiguracji. Wgrywasz plugin, ustawiasz nazwę serwera lobby i gotowe.
Co robi ten plugin?
Gdy gracz wpisze /lobby (albo /hub, /l), proxy przenosi go na serwer lobby.
Funkcje
- komenda
/lobbyz domyślnymi aliasami/hubi/l - działa z dowolnego serwera w Twojej sieci
- konfigurowalna nazwa serwera lobby
- konfigurowalna nazwa komendy i aliasy
- brak zależności, działa bez LuckPerms i innych pluginów
- mały i lekki, tworzy tylko jeden plik konfiguracyjny
Instalacja
- Pobierz najnowszy plik
.jar. - Wrzuć go do folderu
pluginsna proxy Velocity (nie na serwery backendowe). - Zrestartuj Velocity.
- Jeśli chcesz zmienić nazwę serwera lobby albo coś innego, edytuj plik
plugins/sendlobby-velocity/config.yml. - Zrestartuj proxy jeszcze raz, żeby zmiany zadziałały.
Konfiguracja
Plik konfiguracyjny tworzy się automatycznie przy pierwszym uruchomieniu:
Wiadomości możesz zmienić na polskie, np. message-moving: &aPrzenoszenie na lobby...
Komendy i uprawnienia
| Komenda | Opis | Uprawnienie |
|---|---|---|
/lobby |
Przenosi Cię na serwer lobby | Domyślnie brak (konfigurowalne) |
/hub, /l |
Aliasy komendy /lobby |
Takie samo jak wyżej |
Jeśli ustawisz uprawnienie w configu (np. lobby.use), potrzebujesz pluginu do uprawnień na proxy, np. LuckPerms w wersji dla Velocity.
Wymagania
- Velocity (zbudowany na Velocity API 3.3.0)
- Java 17 lub nowsza
- Testowany na Minecraft 1.21.11
Uwagi
- Instaluj plugin tylko na proxy. Nie wgrywaj go na serwery backendowe.
- Wartość
lobby-servermusi dokładnie pasować do nazwy lobby w plikuvelocity.toml. - Zmiany w
config.ymlwymagają restartu proxy.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
