Changes
Changelog — 2.0.0
Added
- Energy system — minions require energy and stop at zero; drain is per action (globally and per-type configurable)
- Feeding: right-click with configurable foods (+10 energy each by default), or money-recharge button in the menu (prorated, price configurable)
- Feeder minion — new minion category that feeds all minions in its radius from a linked chest
- Chest linking for every minion (miners deposit, feeders withdraw) — link by clicking or placing a chest; unlink and rotate buttons in the menu
- Money economy via Vault (EssentialsX-compatible): shop, energy refills, level upgrades
/minion shop— buy minions with money; prices per type/minion admin— in-game live editor for settings, plus:- Minion type builder — create/edit/delete whole minion types in game: head (any block, or player-head skins), output, work block, tool, speed, amount, category, shop price
- Shop price editor — adjust or unlist any minion's price with clicks
- GUI layout editor — rearrange the plugin's menus: move buttons, filler glass, rows, titles (
guis.yml)
- Skyblock limits — per-island cap via SuperiorSkyblock2, radius-based area cap fallback, per-player per-category caps with permission overrides for ranks
messages.yml— every string externalized, translatable, hex-color support- Look-based nametags — names render only while a player looks at the minion (configurable range / always-on toggle)
- Color-coded energy bolt in nametags (green / yellow / red)
- Per-type config knobs:
head(block heads),enabled(disable without deleting),energy-per-actionoverride; configurable action sound + volume + pitch
Changed
- Tiers I–XI replaced by Levels 1–3 (extendable in config); upgrades now cost money instead of items; level scales energy cap, mining field radius (3×3/5×5/7×7), speed, and storage
- Mining field size now grows with level instead of being fixed 5×5
- Feeder menu redesigned as a compact 3-row layout; admin hub reorganized with a toolbar
config.ymlfully reorganized: table of contents, nine documented sections- Minion items are no longer required to be player heads (supports block-headed custom types)
Fixed
- Player inventory no longer locks up while plugin GUIs are open
- Chest link mode no longer blocks placing a chest
- Nametags heal stale text (old tier names, uncolored bolts) on every server start
Migration from 1.0.0
Automatic. Old saves and items convert (tiers 1–4 → level 1, 5–8 → 2, 9–11 → 3, energy starts full, leftover blaze-powder fuel returned to storage), and existing config.yml files get the new sections merged in without touching your edits.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
