Simple Announcements is a clean, efficient plugin designed for servers that want timed broadcast messages without wrestling with complicated configs or bloated feature lists. Messages are controlled through a single config.txt located inside the SimpleAnnouncementsConfig folder, allowing server owners to quickly add, edit, or remove announcements with ease. Each line defines a color and a message, and the plugin automatically formats, validates, and rotates through them at your chosen interval.
On startup, the plugin generates example announcements if the file doesn’t exist, ensuring servers are ready to go immediately. Every broadcast pulls a random entry and sends it to all online players in bold, color-formatted text. Whether you want reminders, server tips, event notices, or promotional messages, Simple Announcements delivers it with zero clutter and minimal performance impact. Perfect for any server that values simplicity, readability, and full control over its announcements.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
