SimpleGraves 1.1 Changelog
New features:
-
Explosion protection — Graves are now fully protected from any explosion source (TNT, creepers, etc.). The grave block cannot be destroyed.
-
Smart placement — The grave now finds the nearest valid location on death:
- Died in the air → placed on the first solid block below.
- Died in water → placed at the surface of the liquid.
-
Death messages — Two new configurable messages on death:
- A private message sent to the player who died (with or without coordinates).
- A broadcast message sent to the whole server (with or without coordinates).
Both are independently toggleable in
config.yml.
-
Sounds — A sound now plays on grave creation and on grave loot, both configurable in
config.yml. -
keepInventory detection — If
keepInventoryis enabled in a world, no grave is created and a warning is sent to all online admins and printed in the console. -
26.2 support
Patches:
- Nametag timer now updates every second instead of every 20 seconds — the countdown is now smooth and accurate.
- ArmorStand nametags are now properly restored when a chunk is loaded after a server restart.
- Fixed a bug in sound fallback where a
nullsound reference was passed instead of the resolved sound. - Grave block is now protected against accidental breaking by any player, including ops in creative mode.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
