Changes
Game Start Flow
- Added a startup movement lock (
pre-game-movement-lock-seconds, default5) after players are teleported to spawn points. - Startup sequence now runs as: teleport players -> spawn/map loot setup -> 5-second movement lock -> game fully begins.
- During the startup lock, players can look around but cannot change block position.
Loot System
- Added
loot.mid-chests-per-playerconfig option (default3) to control max mid chests per player. - Mid chest spawning on iron blocks now respects player count cap (
mid-chests-per-player * active players).
Death and End-of-Game Cleanup
- Fixed player death behavior so eliminated players now drop their loot normally.
- Improved arena cleanup to remove arrows and dropped loot after each game.
- Cleanup now removes
DROPPED_ITEM,ARROW,SPECTRAL_ARROW, andTRIDENTentities inside arena bounds.
Disaster System Enhancements
- Added separate Disaster BossBar that displays current disaster name and remaining duration.
- Added
disasters.duration-secondsconfig option (default30) to control how long each disaster lasts. - Each disaster now sends an actionbar message with survival tips:
- Tsunami: "💧 TSUNAMI INCOMING! Head to high ground to survive!"
- Lava Wave: "🔥 LAVA WAVE! Head to high ground to survive!"
- Meteor Shower: "☄️ METEOR SHOWER! Find cover away from the sky!"
- Lightning Storm: "⚡ LIGHTNING STORM! Find cover indoors!"
- Disaster bossbar automatically updates with remaining time each second.
- Disaster bossbar is added to all players when they spawn into the game.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
