SimpleRevive 1.5 — Compatibility & Downed State Improvements
This update fixes cases where players could die immediately without entering the downed state when using other combat or custom mob plugins.
- Improved lethal damage detection: better handling of damage modified by other plugins, including PvP and mob attacks.
- Additional protection on Paper, Folia, and Purpur: catches deaths that bypass the normal damage checks.
- Better protection for downed players: prevents direct deaths from interrupting an existing downed state without resetting its countdown.
- Preserved totem behavior, surrender mechanics, and death when the bleedout timer expires.
- Improved error logging to help diagnose issues when entering the downed state.
Compatibility: Spigot retains the existing damage detection system. The additional protection uses features available on Paper and compatible forks.
Bypass permissions and configured exceptions remain respected.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
