Changes
New
- Minecraft 26.3 support on Paper and Folia.
- Crash and spam protection. Clip and recording saves now have cooldowns, so players can’t spam saves to lag or crash the server. Each player can only save one clip at a time, and there’s a limit on how many clips the whole server queues at once. You can change all of this in config.yml.
- /clip stop saves automatically. It saves the last few seconds, then stops.
- Separate permission for each command. For example, simplyflashback.command.clip and simplyflashback.command.record. The old simplyflashback.command still grants everything, so existing setups keep working.
- simplyflashback.cooldown.bypass lets staff skip the cooldowns.
- Optional auto-update (admin.auto-update, off by default). It downloads the newest compatible version, which installs on the next restart.
Fixes
- Hit/swing animation. The recorded player’s own hit/swing animation was missing from replays. It now shows, and players still don’t need a client mod.
Upgrading
- Existing configs: your current config.yml won’t get the new settings automatically. The plugin uses sensible defaults until you add them.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
