Paper compatibility for this release follows the Minecraft versions listed on Modrinth. The same JAR passed the required automated server checks on each listed version.
Compatibility validation: automated Paper server checks. Manual client and UI checks were not performed.
Platform compatibility: This release passed 17 automatic checks directly on Paper for each of its 29 listed Minecraft versions. Bukkit and Spigot support on those versions is inferred from its Bukkit API usage and production code that is byte-for-byte identical to the platform test JAR. That test JAR passed all 17 automatic checks directly on pinned CraftBukkit and Spigot builds for Minecraft 1.20.3, 1.21.2 and 26.1. Player-driven UI checks were not performed.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
