New Features:
-
Armor Insulation System:
- You can now craft armor with wool to add insulation to it.
- Each piece of wool adds +1 insulation, up to a maximum of 4 per armor piece.
- Leather armor now comes with a default of 2 insulation points and can also be upgraded with wool.
- The insulation level is displayed in the item's description (e.g., "Insulation: 1").
-
Armor Material Effects:
- Iron armor now heats up 15% faster in hot biomes.
- Netherite armor now heats up 20% slower in hot biome. Balancing & Bug Fixes:
-
Performance: The radius for checking for nearby heat sources (like fire and lava) has been significantly reduced to decrease potential server lag.
-
Temperature Rates:
- The temperature change rate in neutral biomes is by default 0, so you won't get hotter or colder unless you are near a heat/cold source.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
