Changes
Reliability and safer defaults
/tickscope reloadis now failure-safe and preserves event counters across reloads.- Fixed duplicate event listeners and leaked HTTP executor threads.
- Fresh installs now bind to
127.0.0.1by default. Docker users can explicitly select0.0.0.0. - Invalid endpoint settings are rejected, and failed rebinds restore the previous working endpoint.
New metrics and diagnostics
- Added
mc_tickscope_infowith TickScope, Paper, and Java versions. - Added
mc_entity_collection_duration_secondsfor the entity-by-type scan. /tickscope statusnow shows the active endpoint and collection intervals.mc_collection_duration_secondsnow covers the full main-thread collection.
HTTP and testing
- The endpoint now handles
GETandHEADexplicitly, returns405for unsupported methods, and does not serve child paths accidentally. - Added automated tests and CI builds on Java 17, 21, and 25.
One dependency-free jar supports Paper 1.18.2 through 26.2 on Java 17 or newer. Existing configuration files remain compatible.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
