All notable changes to Unknown's Altar SMP. Built for Paper 1.21.11.
1.0.0
Arc 1, complete.
The forge
- Altars. Bind a block with
/altar set <weapon>, read the placard that hovers over it, throw the tribute in, watch the pile burn and the weapon rise. Relic lines only accept the tagged relic - a plain breeze rod is not a Weapon Handle, and the altar knows the difference. - Four relics. Warden's Heart and Vulcan's Skull are torn off a boss; Weapon Handle and Illusion Core are forged at altars of their own. Each is consumed by the forge, so a relic is worth exactly one weapon.
/legendaries, the in-game book of every weapon, relic, recipe and ability.
The legendaries
- Bloodlust. Levels in stages - speed, a tracker that draws a red line to every player nearby, Blood Trail, strength, then Bloodhook. The kill count is saved per player rather than on the item, so it survives death and a stolen blade carries none of its owner's progress. Bloodhook lands 3 hearts on the catch before it reels; Blood Trail leaves no body to collide with while it holds.
- Frost Scythe. Throw it and it cuts, freezes and comes back, or raise three blocks of ice overhead and swing to send them wherever you are looking.
- Bone Blade. Skeletal Leap closes the gap. Bone Cage pins a target to the spot it was caught on for the full duration - a real hold, not a stack of slowness anyone can walk out of.
- Vulcan's Crossbow. Scattershot is passive: every shot splits three ways and every bolt burns. Vulcan's Wrath turns the next shot into a fireball. Tuned as a pressure weapon - the blast leans on fire and knockback rather than raw damage.
- Wand of Illusion. Keeps the shape of anything it kills - every mob in the game, and every player too. A mob shape parks a real creature on top of you and takes your own body out of the picture underneath it; the shell cannot be hurt, cannot be killed by its wearer, and cannot shove you around. A player shape rewrites your live profile, so your name and skin change in tab, on your nametag and in death messages. The borrowed form lends a little of what makes it dangerous, read off the mob itself - and anything with wings lets you fly.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
