VeinTree
Adds two quality-of-life mining/woodcutting mechanics to your server:
⛏️ VeinMiner
Break one ore block and every connected block of the same ore type breaks with it — all drops go directly into your inventory instead of scattering on the ground.
- Works with pickaxes only
- Triggers on all vanilla ores: coal, iron, copper, gold, redstone, lapis, diamond, emerald (stone + deepslate variants), nether gold, nether quartz, and ancient debris
- Sneak (shift) to disable vein mining and break a single block normally
- Configurable block limit per activation (default: 64)
🌳 TreeFeller
Break the bottom log of a tree and the entire connected trunk breaks with it — drops go straight to your inventory. Leaves are left untouched.
- Works with any tool, or bare hands
- Only triggers when breaking the lowest log (breaking a log mid-trunk behaves normally)
- Configurable block limit per activation (default: 128)
⚙️ Configuration
Fully configurable via config.yml:
- Enable/disable each feature independently
- Block limits per trigger (performance safeguard)
- Require pickaxe / require tool toggles
- Overflow drops fall to the ground if your inventory is full
Compatibility
Built on the Paper API. No dependencies required.
No permissions system — anyone can use both features by default.
Spoiler
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
