DailyRewards v1.1.0
Version 1.1.0 focuses on improving the daily reward experience, adding better admin testing tools and making the plugin easier to configure for different servers.
This update improves the GUI logic, adds multi-language support, introduces useful admin commands for testing and improves the reward feedback players receive after claiming a daily reward.
New Features
Improved GUI Status Logic
The daily reward GUI now handles reward states more clearly.
After a player claims Day 1, Day 2 will no longer show a confusing locked message like “claim the previous day first”. Instead, the next reward can now display a proper “available tomorrow” state.
This makes the GUI much easier for players to understand.
Admin Test Commands
New admin commands were added to make testing and managing player reward data easier.
Added commands:
/dailyadmin info <player>/dailyadmin reset <player>/dailyadmin setstreak <player> <streak>/dailyadmin setlastclaim <player> <yyyy-MM-dd|today|yesterday|none>
These commands are especially useful for testing streaks, daily resets and different reward days without waiting for real days to pass.
Multi-Language Support
DailyRewards now supports language files.
Language files are stored in:
plugins/DailyRewards/languages/de_DE.ymlplugins/DailyRewards/languages/en_US.yml
This makes it easier to translate and customize player messages without editing the main config.
Info Item in the GUI
A new info item has been added to the bottom-right of the reward GUI.
Players can hover over this item to read a short explanation of how the daily reward system works.
The item, slot, name and lore can be configured.
Reward Claim Display
After claiming a reward, players now receive clearer feedback about what they claimed.
Rewards can now include display lines in the config, for example:
display:
- "8x Bread"
- "5 XP Levels"
These display lines can be shown in messages or the GUI, making rewards easier to understand.
SQLite Migration Improvements
The plugin now includes an automatic SQLite migration for the last_claim_date column.
This helps prevent database errors when updating from older test builds or early versions of the plugin.
Fixes
- Fixed misleading locked message after claiming the first reward.
- Fixed GUI logic for the next available reward day.
- Improved handling of existing SQLite databases.
- Improved player feedback after claiming rewards.
Notes
This update is recommended for all servers using DailyRewards v1.0.0.
If you are updating from an older version, make sure to replace the old plugin .jar and keep only one DailyRewards file in your plugins folder.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
