VOID 2.6.4
Full rewrite of AutoTotem.java, added an experimental bridge between Proxy (Velocity/Bungee), void-bridge-2.6.4.jar is needed (Velocity/Bungee Download)
How Does Void Bridge Work?
New optional plugin for your proxy. It ships as a second file on this version,
void-bridge-2.6.4.jar, and goes in the proxy's plugins folder. Velocity and
BungeeCord both work. The normal jar still goes on the backends.
- alerts from one server show up on the others
- ban someone anywhere, they're banned across the network
- the proxy holds the ban list and stops them at login, so it sticks even if the server that banned them is down
- a server that was offline gets the whole list back the moment it reconnects
- optional groups, if you'd rather your PvP bans didn't reach creative
Setup is two steps. Boot the proxy once, it generates a secret and prints it in
the log. Paste that into bridge.yml on each backend, set enabled: true and a
server name, done. Every message is signed with that secret, so treat it like a
password and don't leave the port open to the world.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
