Changes
Added:
- Added
portal.animation-enabledto completely disable portal animations. - Added client-side display transitions through
portal.use-display-transitions. - Added configurable performance optimizations for warp caching, particles, portal detection, settings and Vault.
- Added automatic detection of missing Adventure/MiniMessage API when using the wrong plugin build.
Improved:
- Portal animations now use Minecraft display entity interpolation by default.
- Added a short initialization delay to make opening animations more reliable.
- Warps can now be cached in memory instead of reading storage.yml for every command and tab completion.
- Active portals are indexed by world and chunk for faster player detection.
- Portal rotation calculations are cached and reuse allocation-free collision calculations.
- All portal particles can be managed by one shared scheduler.
- Vault provider and reflection methods can now be cached.
- Frequently accessed configuration settings can be cached until reload.
- Portal entities and particle tasks are cleaned up more reliably during reload and shutdown.
Fixed:
- Fixed portal lifetime calculations for different animation modes.
- Fixed incorrect behavior when portal animations are completely disabled.
- Paper builds used on unsupported Spigot servers now show a clear red console message and disable safely instead of producing repeated errors.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
