WorldGuard Assist 1.0.0
Initial public release of WorldGuard Assist.
Tab completion
- Adds suggestions for
/rg,/region,/worldguard, and/wg - Supports namespaced WorldGuard commands
- Suggests region names, flags, players, worlds, materials, entities, biomes, sounds, game modes, and valid flag values
- Finds custom flags added by other plugins
- Automatically refreshes saved completion data
WorldGuard support
- Detects WorldGuard-related plugins
- Detects WorldEdit and FastAsyncWorldEdit automatically
- Works with WorldEdit, FAWE, or both
- Includes separate permissions for each command and feature
- Provides an API so other plugins can add their own suggestions
Areas with different rules
You can select a smaller box inside an existing WorldGuard region and make different rules apply there.
For example, you can protect an entire prison area while allowing players to mine only inside the mine itself.
- Select two corners using WorldEdit or FAWE
- Confirm or cancel the selection
- Unconfirmed selections expire automatically
- Selected areas are saved after server restarts
- Use
--mineonlyto allow block breaking while keeping other WorldGuard rules - The feature can be disabled without deleting saved areas
Commands
/wgassist reload/wgassist scan/wgassist status/wgassist doctor/wgassist cache refresh/wgassist integrations/wgassist exclusions
Requirements
- Paper 1.21 or newer
- Java 21
- WorldGuard
WorldEdit or FastAsyncWorldEdit is optional for tab completion, but one of them is required to select areas for different rules.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
