Wound & Bleeding
Wound & Bleeding adds a realistic injury system where players and mobs can bleed from combat, losing health over time unless treated with craftable bandages. It enhances tactical gameplay in PvP and survival by making every hit potentially deadly.

🩸 Wound & Bleeding v1.0.0 - First Cut Release for Minecraft 1.21.4
🆕 Core Features Introduced Bleeding System: Players and mobs bleed when hit by configured weapons.
Bleeding causes gradual health loss, worsened by sprinting or jumping.
Visible blood trails using subtle redstone particles.
Heavier weapons (e.g. axes, tridents) increase bleed chance.
🧻 Healing Mechanics Added Bandages: Craft using wool + potions.
Stops bleeding on use (right-click).
Configurable recipes, single/reusable types, and healing effects.
🐾 Mob Integration Mobs can now bleed too (optional via config).
Bleeding mobs slow down and weaken, useful for tracking and hunting.
⚙️ Config & Compatibility Fully configurable weapon bleed values and damage over time.
Supports synergy with combat plugins like Hunting Trails.
No resource pack required – vanilla-friendly effects.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
