Thank you for checking out WYG (What’d Ya Got!).
A modern, highly configurable item-sharing and tooltip plugin for Paper/Purpur 1.21.9+. This is the first public release and it’s packed with quality-of-life features, MiniMessage formatting, sprite icons, and smart, sender-based attribute calculations.
Highlights
- Share items directly in chat using simple bracket codes like [hand], [offhand], [helmet], [chestplate], [leggings], and [boots]
- Beautiful item components with optional sprite icons and fully customizable text via MiniMessage
- Rich hover tooltips that mirror vanilla presentation (name, enchantments, lore, attributes, durability, stack size)
- Sender-based attribute math using the invoker’s base stats and respecting modifier operations (
ADD_NUMBER,ADD_SCALAR/MULTIPLY_SCALAR_1) - Slot-aware attribute display with per-attribute formats, knockback resistance as a percentage, and slot headers
- Powerful, robust placeholder system with support for inline multi-placeholder combinations on a single line
- Sprite support everywhere you parse MiniMessage.
- Fully localized and formatting-friendly — bring your own styles, gradients, and icons
Compatibility
- Server: Paper/Purpur 1.21.9+ (tested on latest point releases)
- Text: MiniMessage (Adventure) for formatting
- Headless-safe: Falls back gracefully when an item has no durability, enchantments, or attributes

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
