xApocalypse 1.4.2 — Stability & Integration Update
Version 1.4.2 fixes the remaining moderate gameplay, configuration, and reload-state issues identified during the full plugin audit.
Zombie AI fixes
- Bursters now continuously check their distance from their target, allowing their fuse to activate when players approach after initial targeting.
- Active Burster fuses and glowing effects are safely cleared during reloads and shutdowns.
- Webber cobwebs now respect GriefPrevention claims.
- Temporary Webber cobwebs are restored correctly during reloads and shutdowns.
- Player-placed replacement cobwebs are no longer incorrectly removed by delayed cleanup.
- Runners now receive the configured Blood Moon speed multiplier.
- The fallback
NORMALzombie type is no longer silently included in the weighted custom class pool. - Negative zombie class weights are safely ignored.
Zombie Guts and scent fixes
- Zombie Guts immunity now works against all Zombie subclasses, including Husks and Drowned.
- Scent behavior is now consistent across enabled and lobby worlds.
- Continuous sprint scent uses the player’s live sprint state, preventing stale sprint tracking between worlds.
- Jump and kill scent now follow the same world eligibility rules.
- Invalid scent limits, decay intervals, and gain values are safely normalized.
- Disabling the scent system during a reload now properly stops its existing tasks.
Claims, reloads, and configuration
- GriefPrevention hook settings now update correctly with
/xa reload. - Disabling the GriefPrevention hook no longer leaves its previous state active.
- Invalid scheduler intervals, spawn radii, horde sizes, spawn chances, zombie limits, and related configuration values are safely bounded.
- Reload cleanup now reverses temporary gameplay effects before scheduled tasks are cancelled.
MythicMobs boss rewards
xApocalypse no longer processes custom drops, commands, broadcasts, or economy rewards for Mutant bosses.
MythicMobs is now the sole handler for boss drops and rewards, preventing duplicate payouts and conflicts between the two systems. The retired mythicmobs.integration.rewards section is automatically removed from existing xApocalypse configurations during reload.
Regular zombie and Blood Moon drop tables remain fully supported.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
