All notable changes to ZyraJobs are documented in this file.
[3.0.0]
Added
- Leaderboards —
/jobs top <job>and a dedicated button in the job detail menu open a top 10 GUI (player heads) per job. Rankings are rebuilt asynchronously on a configurable interval (settings.leaderboard.refresh-interval-seconds) so reads never block the main thread. - Economy rewards (Vault) — each action can now grant money on top of XP via a per-action
moneyfield inconfig.yml. Automatically disabled with a log message if Vault or an economy plugin isn't installed; never fails startup. - Prestige system — once a job reaches the configured max level, a "Prestige" button resets it to level 1 in exchange for a permanent, stacking XP multiplier (
settings.prestige.xp-bonus-per-prestige, default +10% per prestige). Also available to admins via/jadmin prestige <player> <job>. - Action bar display — shows each online player's active job(s), level and XP bar in the action bar on a configurable interval (
settings.actionbar). Chosen over a sidebar scoreboard to stay compatible with scoreboards servers already run. - PlaceholderAPI support — a
zyrajobsexpansion is auto-registered when PlaceholderAPI is present, exposing%zyrajobs_level_<job>%,%zyrajobs_xp_<job>%,%zyrajobs_xp_needed_<job>%,%zyrajobs_xp_percent_<job>%,%zyrajobs_prestige_<job>%,%zyrajobs_joined_<job>%,%zyrajobs_rank_<job>%,%zyrajobs_actions_<job>%,%zyrajobs_total_level%, and%zyrajobs_active_job%. - Per-job statistics — a persistent action counter (blocks mined / crops harvested / mobs killed / potions brewed, depending on the job) is now tracked per player and shown in the job detail menu and
/jadmin info. VaultandPlaceholderAPIadded as optional soft-dependencies inplugin.yml; the plugin runs normally without either installed.
Changed
- Player data saves are no longer triggered on every single XP gain. They now happen on level up, prestige, join/leave, disconnect, and on a periodic autosave (
settings.autosave-interval-seconds, default 5 minutes), reducing disk I/O under heavy play. /jadmin infonow also reports prestige count and total actions performed per job.
Fixed
- Bonus descriptions in the job detail GUI showed a literal double percent sign (
15%%) instead of a single%due to an unnecessary escape inconfig.yml.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
