Aetherium

A Fabric mod inspired by the idea of Equivalent Exchange, built with its own progression, balance, and economy.

Overview

Aetherium is a Fabric alternative to ProjectE, designed for Minecraft 26.2 and future releases as development continues.

Rather than recreating ProjectE, Aetherium introduces its own interpretation of item transmutation. Every item has an Aetherium Value, allowing it to be converted into a universal resource and back again. Unlike ProjectE, Aetherium focuses on a steeper progression.

⚠️ Disclaimer

Aetherium is still in active development.

Not every vanilla item and block currently has an assigned Aetherium Value. More values will be added over time, with the eventual goal of supporting every vanilla item that seems to make sense.

❓ How It Works

Items can be converted into Aetherium, which can then be used to recreate other learned items.

• 1 Aetherium Dust = 0.001 Aetherium
• 1 Aetherium Crystal = 1 Aetherium
• 1 Aetherium Ingot = 1000 Aetherium

• 1 Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Billion Aetherium
• 1 Double Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Trillion Aetherium
• 1 Triple Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Quadrillion Aetherium
• 1 Quadruple Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Quintillion Aetherium
• 1 Quintuple Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Sextillion Aetherium
• 1 Sextuple Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Septillion Aetherium
• 1 Septuple Compressed Aetherium Block = 1 Octillion Aetherium

🤝 Modpack Support

1. Launch Minecraft once with Aetherium installed.
2. Close the game.
3. Navigate to config/Aetherium/
4. Open aetherium_values.json
5. Add or modify item values.

I will eventually explain how to set this up but as of right now. Around v0.3.0 I will include a tutorial but I am busy working on making a wiki for it

💡 Inspiration

Aetherium draws inspiration from ProjectE (Equivalent Exchange 2) while taking the concept in a different direction.

It is not a direct copy, but its own system.
